BiH at the World Robotics Championship: A Record Number of Young Talents Traveling to China with Support from Bloomteq

That Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country of remarkable talent is best demonstrated these days by the Travnik-based programming and robotics school Mali programer (“Little Programmer”). After a year filled with impressive achievements, as many as 19 students have earned their place at the World Robotics Championship for children and youth, the Enjoy AI Global Final - the largest delegation the school has ever sent to an international event.

Mali programer has been operating for four years as an innovative programming school for children and young people. Through interactive and engaging courses, it teaches the basics of programming, develops logical thinking, and encourages creativity among students of different age groups. Today, the school has over 150 enrolled participants.

This year’s Enjoy AI World Final is taking place in Shanghai from December 3rd to 9th, where the team from BiH will compete in several disciplines, including Enjoy AI Exploration (autonomous robot navigation), Enjoy AI Innovation (creative problem solving), and the Drone Challenge (precision drone operation). They will compete alongside more than 100,000 participants from across the globe.

The team of young innovators heads to one of the world’s biggest tech stages after a series of remarkable achievements at national and international competitions over the past year, including the ENJOY AI European Open 2025 in Athens and the International Youth Robotics Innovation Event in Beijing. In Greece, the BiH representatives competed against the best teams from across Europe and won seven medals in three age categories, while in China they secured an impressive second place, one of the greatest successes not only for the school but also for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A special highlight is the achievement of three competitors - Laura, Ajna, and Zara. Although they joined the school only recently, they excelled at the Southeast European Championship and earned their place at the upcoming global competition in China.

This record number of participants carries an important message: a new generation of young people is emerging in Bosnia and Herzegovina - a generation that not only understands modern technology but keeps pace with it, develops teamwork, and actively follows global trends.

It is important to note that this year’s major breakthrough was made possible thanks to the support of Bloomteq, which recognized the value and potential of the children and youth learning and innovating at Mali programer and made it possible for such a large delegation to travel to the world championship.
